This is the coolest fucking outfit I've ever seen. I need a vest that I can layer with. I also need to teach myself how to stud shit, because I am in a super studding mood ALL THE TIME. I wish everything I own was studded.

You know, I can get behind a lot of weird things. Even if I can't see myself in something, I can usually appreciate something for being unique or weird or... whatever. Want to know what I can't get behind?

Now, I already mentioned how I love the idea of cut-out boots, making them a little more wearable in summer months, but these are just too cut-out for me. I don't understand the obsession, other than that they are YSL's new "gotta have it" item, and when you hear that something is "gotta have it" YOU GOTTA HAVE IT.



I like them a tad bit more in silver, but that might just be because Beyonce is rockin' them and she does no wrong in my mind.



Cage heels are even more awkward. My mom thinks they're cute but "probably not that comfortable." Hahaha.

I'm gonna do another update on this again really soon, but for now I just want to say how much I hate it when photographers incorporate smoking into shoots. I think the world would be so much better off if smoking wasn't portrayed as such a glamorous thing. Done.

So let's talk Balmain. I stumbled upon the ready to wear fall '09 pictures a while ago, and it's so good.


I love these silhouettes. The big, pointy shoulders with a super skinny ankle jean. And I love all the dark colors with silver, it's flashy without making me feel like it's something that I couldn't wear. You know, if I had thousands of dollars to spend on clothes.


Now these are less casual looks, obviously. It feels so futuristic and biker chick at the same time, and I could never ever ever have enough mini dresses. The boots kinda throw me off, though. I mean, I think they hit at the perfect spot on the leg to be worn with such short dresses, but they're so thick that they feel cankle-ish to me. If you can make models look like they have cankles, something is wrong.

And I know these are old news, but I will never get over them:


Crystally, studded, strappy, dangerous and extremely uncomfortable looking. Everything that should not go together but so does, and I wish I had two thousand bucks to drop on them, because I would probably even wear them to bed.

And in the spirit of the silhouette I spoke of above, I stumbled upon this picture of Susan Cernek (senior fashion and beauty editor at glamour.com) and I think it might be the most perfectly comfortable, everyday looking outfit. Of course it's too warm to wear this now, but it doesn't make it any less awesome.

Slightly highwaisted jean, super skinny, light wash, with an oversized navy blazer and a bright orange scarf. Something I would never think to do and would probably not look anywhere near this wonderful on my frame, but I love it.

So this blog will pretty much be me reposting things I find on other blogs. I spend insane amounts of time on the internet every day looking at fashion blogs, like I have at least 15 that I check every day, and it seems like it'd be more fun if I had someone to share stuff with. I mean, this isn't really sharing with anyone specific but it sounds like it'd be more fun to post stuff here than to keep it all to myself. If nothing else, I can look at this and love it.

And the title of this blog seriously could not be more true. In all aspects of life, I LOVE ugly things. Anything that is even the slightest big unattractive, I want it. Something about ugly just draws me in.

First topic: High heeled creepers. Am obsessed.



I am completely aware of the fact that creepers were never meant to be fashionable, or even really sexy, but I love the idea of these. Those jeans, on the other hand. Blocky leather patches? No, thank you.

Second topic: Cut-out boots.

Super sexy and I've always wanted to be able to wear boots during the summer. Why do they have to be winter only shoes? The knee highs seriously make me salivate. Not sure sure about wearing them over pants, but the elliptical shaped cut-outs all the way up... I can totally get into that.

Next post will be better than this, I swear. For now I'm just puttin' down whatever I can to get a first entry out of the way. Better than posting Myspace bulletins.
